Black Sheep Pizza among new openings at MSP

Local favorite Black Sheep Pizza and three other stores recently opened at MSP's Terminal-1 Lindbergh. These recent openings leave only two more concepts that have yet to be completed for the first phase of MSP's concessions over-haul.

Black Sheep, the first coal-burning pizza restaurant in Minnesota, is now open in the Airport Mall. In addition to pizza, the restaurant offers salads, sandwiches, appetizers and a full bar. Customers have the option to either dine in or can take their food to go. Black Sheep is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Travelers on the hunt for athleisure wear now have a new go-to in the Airport Mall – Adrenaline. Adrenaline carries athletic gear from well-known brands like Under Armour, Puma, New Balance and Adidas, as well as fitness accessories. Stop by not only for the clothing, but also to check out the super cool "running man" in the store front. Adrenaline is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

With its stark black, mountain-like exterior, its hard to miss Adventure North in the Airport Mall. The new store is a one-stop-shop for outdoor enthusiasts, offering items such as boots, camping accessories, water bottles and gadgets. Adventure North carries well-known brands Patagonia, The North Face, Chaco and Red Wing footwear and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Long-time MSP tenant Tumi recently re-opened its store in the Airport Mall after undergoing renovations. Tumi offers high-end luggage, limited apparel, electronics and luggage accessories; its open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

These new concepts are part of a massive renovation project, including updating the Ticketing and Bag Claim areas at Terminal 1, full remodels of nearly 100 sets of restrooms, four new gates at Terminal 2-Humphrey, a luxury airport hotel, and a new 5000-space parking ramp.
