If you don’t have time for a sit-down lunch or even made-to-order items at MSP, give Grab a try.
Grab – an app designed for people who are short on time at airports – allows customers to order food and other items from their phones, and avoid pick-up lines. After making a selection on the app, status updates are sent to your phone, and you’re alerted when your order is ready for pick-up.
MSP is currently testing out the app on a small segment of restaurants owned by master concessionaire Delaware North. Currently, Angel Food Bakery, Smack Shack and Twins Grill are available.
“This is a great, convenient service for airport employees as well as travelers,” said Liz Grzechowiak, MSP’s assistant director of concessions and business development. “We’re hoping to expand the offerings on the app to include more of the airport’s restaurants and possibly even retail.”
