New Company Requirements

Sponsorship Letter

Every company operating at the MSP Airport must be sponsored by an existing company, already established at the airport. Your Sponsor must complete a Sponsorship Letter which identifies: 1) the type of work your company will be conducting at the airport 2) the length of the contract or service agreement and 3) the project name (if applicable).  Sponsor Letters submitted with an “ongoing” or “open-ended” date will not be accepted.  The Sponsor will determine the term or length of the contract.  Contracts range from months to years but three years is usually the maximum amount of time we are able to allow.  The Sponsoring Company will need to generate and submit a letter on their company letterhead, introducing you to the MSP Airport.  Please reach out to your customer and request this document.

Company Profile

Your company or organization will need to submit a Company Profile form identifying and explaining the work you will be doing for your Sponsor Company at the airport.  This form will also provide us with your financial information.  We offer two options for billing: payment can be collected at the time of service with a check or credit card.  The second option would be to elect direct billing.  Our Finance Department will send an invoice for all services provided.

*Companies with contracts less than 3 months, are required to pay with a check or credit card at time of service*

Authorized Signer Agreement Forms – 2 required

An Authorized Signer is someone who works for your company who will be responsible for the badging company paperwork, monitoring contracts, approving employees’ applications and badge accountability.  These individuals will serve as the key point of contacts for your company while doing business at the airport and have contact with Airport Administrators regarding airport regulations and badging information. Every company operating at the MSP Airport with active badges is required to have a minimum of two badged Authorized Signers. The designated Authorized Signers must attend the required training, complete the fingerprinting process, be able to pass background checks and obtain a badge before signing MSP Airport Security Badge Applications.  Registration is required for the Authorized Signer Training Classes.
